This summer, Valencia CF Academy Canada proudly participated in three outstanding international tournaments, providing our players with unforgettable experiences both on and off the field.
From Spain to Sweden, our athletes had the opportunity to compete against clubs from around the world, experience different football cultures, and continue their development in a professional environment while proudly representing our Academy.
Valencia CF World Cup
Our international journey began with the Valencia CF World Cup, where our Jesús Vázquez team represented Valencia CF Academy Canada. This unique tournament takes place once a year and brings together Valencia CF Academies from across the globe.
Every year, it provides an incredible opportunity for both players and coaches to compete against fellow Valencia Academies while fully embracing the Club’s methodology, values, and playing philosophy. It continues to be one of the highlights of our international calendar.
Costa Blanca Cup
This summer also marked our first-ever participation in the Costa Blanca Cup, where our Diego Lopes squad proudly represented the Academy.
Competing on outstanding facilities against quality international opposition, our players enjoyed an unforgettable experience both on and off the field. From the beautiful pitches to the competitive atmosphere, the tournament was a tremendous success and a memorable first experience for everyone involved.
Gothia Cup
Our summer concluded with the Gothia Cup in Sweden, the largest youth football tournament in the world. We have been fortunate to participate in this prestigious tournament for several years, and once again it proved to be an incredible experience.
This year, both our U17 Boys and U17 Girls teams competed against clubs from all over the world, playing numerous high-level matches while gaining invaluable experience throughout the week.
Beyond the results, the tournament provided countless opportunities for learning, personal growth, and unforgettable memories, making it another successful chapter in our Academy’s international journey.
More Than Football
Beyond the results, these tournaments represent much more than competition. They provide our players with opportunities to develop as athletes and individuals, build lifelong friendships, discover new cultures, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
